Summer Task 1 - Audience

This poster from the film 'The Hangover' is targeted towards a specific audience well.
From the first impressions of the poster we can simply imply that the film is a comedy. We can do this because of the light-heartedness shown, one example of this is the baby with sunglasses.

Furthermore, the poster shows three men who are appearing to suffer from a hangover and the picture also suggests they don't know what they are doing because of it. This also suggests that the film will make people laugh and is of comedy genre.

Moreover, the film is targeted towards an age group of 15+ because of the particularly rude parts throughout the film. Also, the lighting at the back of the shot adds a light-hearted effect to the poster. Also as the bright light has connotations with comedy it gives a good impression to the audience about how the film will be and also attracts them in.

Overall, this poster attracts a specific target audience well. Using different features throughout the poster for effect. Eg. The light in the background and the baby. This gives the audience an insight into what they can expect from the film and entice them to want to find out more.

My Welcome Post

My names Rossi Salvatore, I'm 16 and have strong interest in the Media department, especially video making/editing which is my favourite part to it. My main hobbie is Football however, I do like to edit anything I've filmed in my spare time if I can. I would like a career in something which is Sport and Media related if possible, therefore I will have a passion for the job I do.

My favourite media aspects mainly involve films and videos because they are easy to access and I'm able to gain inspiration of other people's videos. Also being able to practice more on it than that of media forms im less keen for such as that of Newspapers and magazines due to personal preference is a benefit.

Here is just two bits of production work I have previously completed during my spare time, one football related, the other from my trip to Mexico earlier this year:
